- The .msi package installed and integrated well (msiexec /i FoxitReader30_enu.msi)
- The standalone executable (extracted from a zip archive) appears to run well
My workload today consists of reading and annotating a large 1200 page PDF. This file contains many images, and is fairly large (>60MB). Foxit running under wine has performed like a champ all through.
What does not
- The .exe installer does not work. Wine displays a dialog with the message "Setup.exe \n Could not open file \n File not found."
What was not tested
I have given a Silver rating - like on of the previous reviewers - because of the issue with installation from the .exe. Otherwise, the .msi and standalone executable versions would have earned Gold.
