Installation works smoothly. It warns you that you need DirectX9 and gives you the option to visit the DirectX homepage to download it. If you decline, it will continue installation.
What does not
Running the game itself, once installed. It requests d3d9x_29.dll and aborts. If you add that manually to your wine Windows/System32/ directory and try to run again, it will crash with a memory error (will follow up with exact error message). Currently the game is not playable in any form.
What was not tested
I didn't know where to go from here, as running it from the console didn't provide additional clues.
