Once Play game is selected, the screen goes from garbled, to black to garbled and stalls. I do see the correct mouse cursor and can move it, and it has a box around it.

I ran it from steam and turned off just about every setting. I used to be able to play, except for the mouse problem and the 'no body' problem - now I can't play at all.
