Bug #6971 hampers your ability to look around, however I found that (unlike it previous versions of Wine) it did not prevent me from playing the game.

Test Specs: Pentium D 2.88GHZ, 4GB RAM Geforce 9800GT 512 Graphics Card The game ran at about 75-90% of the normal amount of framerate, at highest graphic settings and lowered physics-related settings, such as corpses and battle sizes. The game was also run at a native resolution of 1440x900. The mouse issue is the only bug that I found to affect this game, and I gave it a Silver rating because none of the DLL overrides suggested have been able to fix the problem, thus it's an inherent problem that does NOT prevent you from playing the game if you run the game at or above the Wine version tested.
