everything except networkplay
What does not
entering text/user name etc does not show in text box when typing
doing a complete/full installation. I had to do standard installation.
What was not tested
work around for network play
play speed is great. I look forward to when network multiplayer works out of the box.

To get multiplayer working you have to use by now the directplay libraries from microsoft, still (since 2006) no open source libraries for direct play that include libraries to open sockets and close to play games, so install winetricks:
(in ubuntu/debian) sudo apt-get install winetricks
and then exec:
It will download the directplay libraries from microsoft and install them, that's all, tcp/ip will work with direct connect.
