What works
Finally everything seems to work. Update, Race, everything. In my case, DirectX is glitchy, but OpenGL works fine, I guess this might depend on the GFX-Card (I have GeForce 8600 GT).

What I did to get it work: added to every line in .wine/system.reg containing winebrowser.exe -nohome the value %1 so it looks like this: winebrowser.exe -nohome %1 Switched the windows version to "windows 98" in the wine settings Copy the font "trebucbd.ttf" to the .wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts folder.
