What works
The MobiPocket Reader 6.2 works almost perfectly.
In the Program Folder of Mobipocket you have to rename or delete msvcr80.dll
so that Wine's builtin version will be used.

In the reader's main window the pictures of the books are not shown

It's fresh installation on ubuntu 10.04 32 bit, then I override library : "msvcr80" from wine-configuration to "builtin,native" to be able to start reader.
And it seems working well, includes the pictures of the books shows.
