Installing, starting, walking around
What does not
Chat is flaky, you have to reopen the tab and/or click on the pushpin to get it to keep working after sending the first message (bug 16296)
What was not tested
I only spent one minute in the app, so I didn't test much.
You have to do "winetricks vcrun6" to get missing redistributables (mfc42 and msvcp60), "winetricks wininet" if needed to work around bug 16292, "winetricks directx9" if needed to work around bug 16293, and "winetricks ie6" if needed to work around bug 16294.

Open up the Terminal ( It would normally be in Applications > Accessories. ) and paste in the three commands:
If you have a wine older than 1.1.12, you'll also have to do sh winetricks directx9 to work around a crash bug (bug 16293).
This works for Ubuntu 8.04 and 8.10; it may not for other versions of Linux.
