What works

The install was successful.  The program started and brought up the Yuuguu Start/Chat panel which worked.  I had a remote user (running native Windows XP Yuuguu client) connect to me and share their desktop.  Yuuguu opened a window and I got a live view of the desktop.

Fyi - my Desktop was plain gnome - no Compiz or metacity composition. Video was ATI/AMD proprietary FGLRX on an Asus Motherboard (M3A-H/HDMI with onboard AMD/ATI video.

What does not

I only tested the 'Share' feature... where a remote user allowed me to view their desktop (they had an WinXP pc and the same Windows Yuuguu software as I was using).      A minute or two after successfully drawing the remote Yuuguu desktop,  my desktop (gnome) started having problems.  My desktop became very slow and gnome application windows locked up or dissappeared.  After a few minutes of this I had to kill Wine/Yuuguu.

Workarounds

What was not tested

Yuuguu has a whiteboard tool and video/voice chat - I did not test these.
I did not attempt any changes/tweaks to my video or desktop settings to fix the problem.

Additional Comments

Garbage may be too strong - some features did work. However - a better solution (for providing remote control of a Windows desktop) is available with Gitso -http://code.google.com/p/gitso/
