What works
The critical functionality works. You can record sales, produce reports and generally manage your accounts.
What does not
There are a few annoyances:
- Some forms use tabs. Using your mouse to click on the tab does not select it. You can usually work around this by selecting with your mouse and then hitting Ctrl+Space.
- Printing directly to the printer often produces a printout with broken formatting. You can print to PDF and this will usually work.
- Most organisations will use customized invoices. MYOB is capable of saving a form (for instance an invoice) directly to PDF, but it depends on using Apple QuickTime to do this if your form includes images. This doesn't work under Wine.
The last two points mean that it's impossible to print invoices that include logos. If you want to produce good-looking invoices, you have to print the invoice to PDF without imagery, and then subsequently edit the PDF to inlclude your logo. Obviously this is not feasible if you produce many invoices.
You can always produce invoices in another package (OpenOffice?) and enter the figures in MYOB.
Workarounds

Additional Comments
This is not far off silver. It's useable for occasional use. I have used it under Wine to produce end-of-year accounts. It also works under Ubuntu 8.04 x86_64.
