What works

Application will start and display existing data from the database (database copied over from the windows installation).

What does not

It will not talk to the interface. Error message "Keine Antwort vom Interface".
Error message in console: "fixme:comm:wait_on EV_RXFLAG not handled"
This might be bug #9130, which was marked duplicate of #5154, which was resolved as invalid. But there's no solution given :-(

It is not wine bug - it is hardware+kernel related.

Bug status questionable

Another windows application (WSwin, shareware from http://www.pc-wettersation.de) is able to talk to the interface from within wine, so the COM-port in general seems to be functional. Besides, it's a WINE error message...
