What does not
Due to incomplete support in wine for USB and ActiveSync it isn't possible to determine capabilities of device-related options.
What was not tested
Unable to test with USB connected devices such as iPods since wine currently doesn't support USB device connections. Windows CE/PocketPC/Mobile cannot be tested since ActiveSync isn't completely supported.
Activation would originally fail due to bug #16831 "NETCON_secure_connect SSL_connect failed". This was due to wine not promoting an HTTP connection to HTTPS when the INTERNET_FLAG_SECURE was set. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16831 I've created a patch that solves this issue and can successfully Activate the Desktop Player.
