What works

Most functions work, including the various editors, the optional buddy list program Furcadia Pounce, and pretty much everything else. Of special note is the "view log" button and file associations, both of which did not work in previous versions. The Dream Editor has also stopped lagging.

What does not

Sounds and MIDIs are now broken and do not play. MIDIs use fmod.dll and likely never worked (I just thought they did), but sounds used to work. Like before, images in Whisper Windows do not work. If images in Whisper Windows aren't turned off in the settings, the client will crash if any images are tried to render in a Whisper Window (i.e., by sending emoticons through whispers). This may be fixable with a custom build.

HOWTO Install Fonts to Fix Dreamweaver

Dreamweaver lags because it cannot find the fonts it is looking for, and the font used by default is nearly unreadable.  This is resolved by installing winetricks and the corefonts package. Alternatively, you can install msttcorefonts.  Depending on your distribution, this package may be included in the default repositories or you may need to wget it from another source.

Ubuntu users, who have the package in default repositories, may use apt-get to install it:

sudo apt-get install msttcorefonts

RPM compatible distributions may use the following commands to retrieve and install msttcorefonts:

su

cd /tmp/
wget http://corefonts.sourceforge.net/msttcorefonts-2.0-1.spec
yum -y install rpm-build cabextract ttmkfdir

rpmbuild -bb msttcorefonts-2.0-1.spec
rpm -ivh /root/rpmbuild/RPMS/noarch/msttcorefonts-2.0-1.noarch.rpm --nodeps
