Everything I have tried works so far. Seems very stable but more tests should be made on other system configurations. Even more stressful activities like using the render view works in real time.

What does not

UI Icons have black instead of transparency (cosmetic issue)
Default Alt key configuration overlaps with OS shortcuts in Ubuntu. Can be changed.
Slight flickering on UI, nothing major.

Performance when opening the File menu options can be slightly delayed but still function well.

I recommend more tests with different configurations but seems to be working very well so far. Tested on: Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 CPU, Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L Motherboard, EVGA 8800gt Superclocked Videocard, 2gb G.Skill Ram 1066, Western Digital 80gb IDE Drive
