If you get low fps then you should alter the nice value of the wineserver and ICC2007.exe
You can use GNOME's system monitor for changing nice level.
Give wineserver priority to +10 andICC2007.exe priority to -12.
Now you should get playable fps.
First of all create a blank new wine prefix.
Insert your DVD and locate it.
Start Installation process by giving the following command in the terminal:
wine Autorun.exe or wine setup.exe
After finishing the installation place all the d3dx9_* file to wine's system32 directory and
make them native in the winecfg.
Install OpenAL sound library that comes up with the disk or It will be installed during the game
Open up wine's regedit, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Wine -> Direct3D and put these value:
DirectDrawRenderer = opengl
OffscreenRenderingMode = backbuffer or fbo
UseGLSL = enabled
VideoMemorySize = 256
Now you should fire up th game.
On some interface the mouse clicks automatically.
So you have to move away mouse cursor to any corner.
You have to play the game without creating any profile.
If you create a profile then after playing one game the fonts of the interface will be broken down.
That is no happend without creating any profile.
I can play any game by not creating any profile.
