Everything works now, as far as I can tell, including these recent improvements:
Pinyin on mouth tool pop-up works right.
Grabber disk is uniformly dark.
Writing tool is perfectly smooth now.
What does not
A new file can't be saved unless it has a suffix.
Just use the desired suffix: .u8, .uni, .gb, .wfc (flashcard file).
What was not tested
Printing. If it is true that printing doesn't work, just save the file and print it with your usual (cjk capable) printing software.
Wenlin 3.0, upgraded to Wenlin 3.4.1 (from Wenlin website). I tried the virtual-machine route, but prefer to avoid that. So, I'm very happy with wine now. Thank you.
