What works

• Program Installs.
• Automatic license key recovery.
• Majority of the user interface.
• Rendering.
• Sculpting, and texture map painting.
• Texture display within the viewports and other display modes.

What does not

• A number of the drop down tabs are unselectable.
•  Some of the UI button images are missing or blanked out.
• Slow OpenGL viewport performance, and crash with a "lack of memory" error prompt if using multiple 3d viewports.
• Interface specially the drop down bar along the top is slow to respond (I suspect the problem is related to the viewports)

Additional Comments

To prevent Modo from closing when in a multiple viewport tab (e.g. Quad Model) you will need to disable VBO mode. Hardware: Intel 2 Quad Q6600, Nvidia 8800GT, 3Gig Memory. This current test was done under the Ubuntu 8.10 Live CD, however previous installation of Ubuntu on this system has had the same reported issues with viewport performance. **You must have a 3d accelerated graphics card driver installed otherwise it will fail to run (the program window will load and promptly close).** On the whole Modo seems to run fine, and appears fully functional. The main current problem preventing use is slow viewport performance.
