What works
This is the first version that works. Old ones had problem with java, as does the installer. But this version use java 1.6.x that works great with wine. (With older versions you could try replacing the original jre files with the jre files of java 1.6.x, don't know if it will work because I haven't tried it myself)
What does not
Installation. You get blank screens (although if you can guess where the things are you could probably install it), something to do with java 1.4.x and ddraw. You can try using wine in NT 4.0 mode and you'll see what the screens says. You can finish the installation and it will say it was succesful but some files are missing, like the utd160.exe and the jre files.
Only work around I found is installing it in windows and then running it in linux.

Additional Comments
The aplication works great the only downside is that you need windows to install it...

To get the aplication fully functional (and not with missing images) here's what I did.
First I installed it with wine in NT4.0. (you won't be able to run it because of missing files.)
Then I copied the files installed in windows xp to the directory where I have installed the aplication with wine. You only need the utd160.exe file (in the app directory) and the jre1.6.0_07 directory (I could upload them but It may be illegal)
Done!
By the way if you have some older version of UpToDate you should try doing the same. But to get it to work download and install java 1.6.x in wine. Then change the jre directory in UpToDate (I think it's in the lib directory) with the jre of java 1.6.x. That should be all. (Worked with UpToDate 16.2)
