What works
Everything - if using a scanner, must have Windows TWINs/w working under wine
What does not
Must have scanner TWAIN interface running under wine to scan documents directly from scanner - alternately, scan under Linux (Xsane, vuescan, etc) to a file, then load file into TextBridge. I have found the alternate to be just as easy and fast.

MicroSoft word save. I just save to an rtf file and open with OpenOffice.
