What works

Gameplay in DX8 mode.

What does not

In DX9 mode the backround is black and hud elements don't render.

In DX8 mode the thermal vision implant doesn't work.

The mouse cursor has been known to pop up above the game window. This causes significant issues with aiming.

Additional Comments

To install the game:
1) Verify the latest Wine version is installed - 1.1.16 currently - reccomended.
2) Get the source sdk base installed by installing and running a source game (css and hl2 worked for me)
3) Copy Dystopia Live Content.gcf from a windows installation of dystopia to your Steam\steamapps\ folder within Wine's drive c.
4) Start or restart steam to get it to recognize newly installed games.
5) Unpause downloading of Dystopia which will allow it to finish downloading the game in it's entirety.
6) Add the launch options "-novid +mat_hdr_level 0" without quotes.
7) Launch the game, look for a resolution supported by Wine if possible and try to keep settings low at first (they can be bumped up if you have good specs).
