Needs winetricks directmusic, or it will crash on start.
When running from a terminal, cd to the program directory to run it (or use wine start /unix) or it will crash on start.
Mouse is unresponsive (bug 13351)
This may not be a Wine bug, as the problem has been reported by Windows users, too. The workaround in Linux is to use xinput to change your acceleration profile. In a terminal, run
xinput
and take note of the ID of your mouse. Then run
xinput set-prop mouse-ID 'Device Accel Profile' 6
If your mouse still moves too slowly, run:
xinput set-prop mouse-ID 'Device Accel Velocity Scaling' 100
Since this affects mouse acceleration on your whole system, not just the game, you will probably want to change it back after exiting the game:
xinput set-prop mouse-ID 'Device Accel Profile' 0
