• Game crashes without the OpenGL patch.

This also happens on Windows, because the game was tied to a very specific hardware generation of GPUs and crashes when the OpenGL feature list is too long. There is a fix available on the GeForce forums here. It also works with my Intel card.

Additional Comments

I played the Directors Cut version and used wine-staging 2.0-rc2. The game works really well on my Intel HD card from 2011, if you set the details a bit lower.
