The game loads and plays.
What does not
Graphics all have a strange greenish hue not present in windows, and performance is extremely slow (half the windows frame rate) even at the lowest possible settings.
What was not tested
I did not play extensively. I simply ran around logar a bit, hopped in and out of my house, checked my mail, and adjusted my game settings as well as the settings of some curse mods.
I was unable to get the game working with my 7300GT, so I put an 8600GT from another system in, thus resolving the EULA issue. I also was not able to get Fedora's Wine install to work with the game (currently 1.1.29). However, compiling wine was a breeze and now the game works. It's unplayably slow, however, and on substantially better hardware than I'm using to play in windows: Wine Machine: Athlon64 x2 2.1Ghz, 2gb RAM, 8600GT, 1.5TB Sata2 5-12fps Windows Machine: Sempron64 1.6Ghz, 1gb RAM, 7300GT, 40gb IDE 15-25fps

Note to all potential players:
A recent update to the item shop being web based has broken it for our fellow Linux users, and the GM's have stated that fixing it will not be of any priority, so I would not expect a fix at all.
The item shop will fail to open on any WINE version. The screen will simply be black or white and will not load. This is due to the publisher (at the time of this writing, Gameforge) forcing a change to the item shop interface to make it easier for them to manage outside of Runewaker (the developer's) involvement.
As of yet, the game is still playable on all current WINE versions and OS's, but the item shop is unable to be used.
A good way around this is to sell your diamonds for gold, then ask a diamond seller in game to buy stuff with the gold. If you get an even trade, you should come out even. Unfortunately trading of diamonds directly is not supported.
