Wine 1.1.31 (did not test on previous Wine versions) ATI fglrx 8.660 drivers X.Org X Server 1.6.4 Up to date Ubuntu 9.10 beta (Karmic Koala) To get this game to work, you must first install winetricks: wget http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks Then get Directx_9-redistributable: sh winetricks directx9 Run this program in either Windows 2000 or 2003 mode. To fix keyboard issue: Go to System->Preferences->Keyboard; Turn off Key repeat. This also works on original Painkiller.
