HowTo / Notes

HOWTO

This was tested under Wine 1.1.18.

  1. Copy and register a native version of msxml3.dll ("winetricks msxml3").
  2. Install as normal.
  3. Install the sg501201sp1.exe patch.
  4. Install the sg501201061.exe patch.
Most features should now work.

Hi,

Did you install the client or server app? I'm interested in getting Sage 50 accounts working on a Linux server distro. SBS 2008 just costs too much for my business!

I have been trying to install sage v12 with the updates for three days now and I am getting nowhere!
You sure that it runs fine as it doesn't for me what ever version I seem to run.

Anyone else got sage v12 to run under wine?

Thanks

Stuart
