Additional Comments

While I did not install under wine, this shouldn't be a problem, as it's handled by the same pugin used for launching. Here's how to proceed: 1. Go to website, register for an account. 2. Install a windows browser, I used IE8: $ winetricks ie8 3. In the windows browser, go to website, log in, click Play Now. If you are using IE8, you'll have to set up permission for the plugin to work. I added the website to my "Trusted Sites" and set the security level for trusted sites to low. The plugin should now install itself, and then start installing BFH. 3. b) If installing BFH under wine proves impossible, you can use an existing windows installation (anybody's should work). Simply quit the plugin, then add a registry value HKLM_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield Heroes\Installation Dir of type string. The value is the full path to the existing install, something like Z:\mnt\windows\bfh Now go back to the website and click Play Now again. 4. By now, BFH should be installed, and the plugin should check for updates, then launch the main interface.
