I was running a fully patched painkiller (Up to 1.64)

Had minor sound issues in cut scenes but in-game sound is spot-on.

Additional Comments

My rig is an athlon 62 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ Had some issues but not Wine related. Listing here for others. I had to run it with the taskset command e.g. taskset --cpu-list 0 wine "PATH To PainKiller\Painkiller.exe" as it ran waaay too fast but this is a recognized issue on dual core athlons. I also had to disable "repeat Keys" on Ubuntu (Jaunty) to resolve an issue with movement within the game. Basically you can't move when the 'movement' key is held down. See here
