Game issues: Remember to create new save games or the new features of the patch will not be available! Check your keyboard layout if the cheating console doesn't appear. wine 1.1.4 also tested - works just like the 1.1.18 My system: AMD Athlon X2 5400, 2 GB RAM, Nvidia Geforce 7900GS (nvidia drivers)

Game issues
  • Don't buy too many cars or the game will crash (game bug). But if you play through all levels you'll get all cars.
  • Remember to create v1.159 save games or the new features of the patch will not be available.
HOWTO activate 3D graphics

Just edit file TDR2000.gfx after installation and a first game start:

    1. change line four from "4294967295" to "0" (should be the graphics card selection)
    2. optionally change line two from "1" to "0" (changes from software to hardware rendering)
    3. optionally change the selected resolution from the first profile in the file
    4. possibly you must change the refresh frequency to zero to avoid a black screen

        The first step is the most important one 4294967295 = 0xFFFFFFFF, so I think the graphics card was detected as unknown. After that change you can use the 3D setup tool of the game.

        always regenerate TDR2000.gfx when changing wine version
        Recently there is done a lot on wined3d. If you change the wine version and encouter graphics issues don't file a bug too fast. Regenerate the TDR2000.gfx file first and retest. The game has a overreliance on that file.
