What works
Career mode, challenges, adjusting graphics settings, remapping controls. I played with mouse and keyboard.
I was also able to install the Widescreen Fix.
What does not
When using a tiling WM (in my case, Sway) the game crashes on startup.
Workarounds
When using Sway, I had to enable virtual desktop and configure the desktop window to float (so that only the game can control the size of the desktop). XFCE does not have this problem.
If you're installing the Widescreen Fix, or any other mod that relies on custom DLLs, you must open winecfg and override those DLLs to "native". In the case of Widescreen Fix, you must configure the "dinput8" library. (see https://github.com/ThirteenAG/...)

Online and LAN multiplayer, gamepad/joystick input.

follow the how to and you will have no problem
for this game to work perfectly you need d3dx9 and vcrun2005 and 2008 and dotnet20 to be installed using winetrick which can be found on this link http://winezeug.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/winetricks
then copy what you see in that page then paste it in an empty file then right click on that file and then click on permission tab then check the box that said allow to be excuted as program then run that file. after that you will get a list of applications install the things that i mention above
