What works

Opens character files, allows editing and saving.

You can edit the following stats:
- Character class
- Character name
- Character state
- Character title
- Starting act
- Level
- Strength
- Energy
- Dexterity
- Vitality
- Maxium Life
- Maxium Mana
- Maxium Stamina
- Skills
- Quests
- Waypoints
- Gold in belt and stash
- Experience
- Upgrade Gems to perfect state

What does not

One character when open showed an incorrect level. He was a level 11 and the program thought he was 81. Some stats have negative signs...

Workarounds

What was not tested

I did not test clicking the "max everything" button, save, then loading the character in game to see if it would work.

Additional Comments

This program has no installer, you unzip the files to a destination and then run the D2Editor.exe. The program worked flawless instantly the first time, but I found it to be a limited character editor... I had no desire to continue using it or extensive testing. I need an editor that will allow me to resurrect a dead hardcore character and did not see that function.
