It works the same as the previous versions. Everything on the viewer side works well.
What does not
The server side.

You MUST install ie6 to get this version to work. It will not work with wine-gecko. sudo apt-get install wine sudo apt-get install cabextract wget http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks sh winetricks ie6

Since CrossLoop v2.4 autoscaling has been turned on. This can make it very hard to read certain things in the VNC window. To change from autoscaling to no scaling do the following:
run 'wine regedit'
browse to HKCU/Software/CrossLoop/CrossLoopConnect/Options
add a dword value and name it 'ImageScaling' (if it doesn't already exist)
for no scaling set ImageScaling = 1
for autoscaling set ImageScaling = 0
This version seems to default the viewer to 86% (at least on my display (1280x800)), which makes everything squished and hard to read. I have yet to find a way to change it but am still looking.
Also, for later reference, the startup command is:
env WINEPREFIX="/home/cody/.wine" wine "C:\Program Files\CrossLoop\CrossLoopConnect.exe" -ap=crossloop -port=5910 -udp=www.CrossLoop.com -webserver=server.crossloop.com -webservice=www.crossloop.com -startup=server
Adding "pkill CrossLoop & " to the begining will end any previous Crossloop session, as they tend to go defunct instead of actually ending.
