Toggling full-screen mode from window manager (i3-wm) makes pointer reappear. Only needs to be done once per play session. Splash movie (projectearth.avi) plays fine with ffplay. Z-buffer was backwards when choosing "Current" for Display Mode. Choosing display's native mode and 32-bit Z-Buffer works correctly. Game is native OpenGL; uses DirectX for sound, input, and probably network.
