Installing works (at least after winecfg has been run and Windows version has been explicitly set XP or 2000 works).
Receiving call works (if ring sounds are disabled; see below)
Making outgoing call works.
Input and output sound works during the call, using dmix device as output and USB headset as input (dsnoop does not work; see below).
Under XFCE, system tray icon works. Right click brings up context menu and double left click hides or reveals the window.
What does not
Occasional sound conflicts: when receiving call, if ring sounds are enabled, the call cannot be answered. Error message says sound device not available. The conflict happens while using ALSA's software mixer (dmix) as default sound device.
Cannot use ALSA's dsnoop: on outgoing call attempt, the application quits with wine error message: "fixme:wave:widRecorder Recovering from XRUN!"
What was not tested
Conference call, chat, or other advanced features have not been tested.
With fresh .wine directory, install fails with error message saying only Windows XP/2000 or above are supported. Run winecfg and explicitly specify the Windows version (2000 or XP).
