Graphics can be painfully slow with poor 3D acceleration in video driver.
With a good graphics support it runs nearly as well as, or even better than in windows XP.
Since the program requires fullscreen, even in windows it is highly recommended to run it in emulated desktop mode.
To improve performance it is also very recommended to disable compiz and disallowing the window manager to decorate the window.
The program has been verified in a full design flow from schematic to production output.
What does not
Fonts in the schematic mode are sometimes hard to read in outline mode.
What was not tested
Being stuck with a graphics card that is not working optimally in Ubuntu Jaunty (ATI rv370 chip) I get less than optimal performance. In Ubuntu Hardy (ATI fglx driver) the performance was on par with XP on the same machine.
