There is no installer. Put the executables anywhere. Copy the XCSoarData directory to $HOME. ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/profiles/gliding/My\ Documents must point to $HOME or XCSoar will not be able to find the navigation database, which must be in XCSoarData. Run it directly from the directory containing the executable, XCSoar-PC.exe or XCSoarSimulator-PC.exe
