Soldat is a unique side-view multiplayer action game. It takes the best from games like Liero, Worms, Quake and Counter-Strike and gives you fast action gameplay with tons of blood and flesh. Soldiers fight against each other on 2D battle arenas using a deadly military arsenal.

What works
Playing game.
What does not
While trying to join a server with animation I get access violation
7e64d5a9 module 'd3d8.dll' address 00000008. I tried a few more times
and the only part of the access violation that changes is 7e(****)a9.
It prevents me from playing game at all. The window still gets input(I
can close dialog box), but it returns quickly. I need to kill the
process.
Doing input for key choice still does not work.

Additional Comments
This was on Soldat vs 1.5d Also during game the top bar which says "You killed X" displays flipped upside down on the bottom of my screen. f1 slows game down a lot(only happens some times I load wine).
