Additional Comments

Everything works so far with this finally! The game plays just fine, although it doesn't seem to really be effected by my antialiasing settings resulting in lots of pixely edges in-game. Strangely enough the menu screen IS effected by them and looks just fine. Hopefully this is just something with Wine that can be corrected in the future, especially since the Sam and Max games do seem to be effected by my settings. NOTES: Also, to try and help anyone who is having problems with getting their serial number recognized. All of the steps provided by everyone else work just fine, but none of them have really said what version to use. You MUST use an older version of Wine to have your serial number recognized and properly submitted. I used 1.1.9 to submit it and it worked just fine, however 1.1.26 does not. So you must back off your version of Wine initially. After your serial number has been recognized, you can go back to 1.1.26 and it will play it just fine.

HowTo / Notes

To get the launcher working if it doesn't load for you: 1) Use winetricks to install IE7 (NOT 8). 2) After installing IE7, install and launch the game. 3) On the launcher, there will be a small box to enter your serial number. Paste it into the box and hit enter. After a few seconds, a lot of error popups will appear. Wait a little longer and the serial number input will change into a link to start the game. Kill the popups with "wineserver -k" and load the launcher again to start the game. 4) This step is completely optional, but if you want to do it anyways you may. Use winetricks to install "msxml3", and then the launchers will have graphics and animations. You will get ActiveX and "script error" popups from IE; click "yes" for the ActiveX ones and "no" for the script ones. Click the button on the bottom-right and enter your serial number.
