- Everything I could test, but pressure.
What does not
- There are some menu selection glitches, generally you have to select the help menu first before being able to access the others
- The key thing in a paint app - Pressure sensitivity.. :(
What was not tested
- I didn't test a few advanced functions, but all advanced brush and paper tweaks in the software worked flawlessly and quite fast.
Since this is an old release, to run on systems with more than 512 Mb you have to apply the "MetaCreations Fix", which you can find here: http://dev.depeuter.org/metacreations_fix_30.php. I had a couple crashes in 6.0, applying the 6.03 patch (found for free in ftp.corel.com) worked things out. Just as in SAI, if stylus pressure worked in the application we'd have an instant platinum and many users happy to be able to finally use Painter in Linux instead of being chained to Windows due to a single app. Admin note: rating changed to conform to rating definitions.
