Additional Comments

The game runs pretty much good on my Ubuntu 9.04 and Wine 1.0.1. To install and play Shadow Warrior, you need to use DosBOX. I played(and eventually use it for a long period of time) DosBOX version 0.72, and I've never got a problem. Download and install DosBOX, run DosBOX, to play you need to mount the SW folder on a drive in DosBOX. Type this: mount c: "path to shadow warrior" (with the ") example: mount c: "z:\media\disk1\Games\SW" then: c: to get in the folder. Run setup.exe for changing the configurations - sound(default there is no sound, at least for me), controls, and map levels if you want some. Then you can save and run SW, or simply quit and run SW.exe. To setup the sound use DosBOX's own settings found in dosbox.conf default: sbtype=sb16 - Sound Blaster 16 sbbase=220 irq=7 dma=1 hdma=5 The game plays perfectly! Note: you will be able to notice a very small delay with the sound, don't worry - it happens to XP too(for me). Note 2: without DosBOX there is NO WAY that you can run SW. Note 3: If you think that you can run it thru Wine's CMD then you're wrong because it's only used it's commands. When you run an application, it will be run like any other out of the CMD. That's why you use DosBOX. Not rated rated platinum because it's not directly playable.
