There was some lag, but it is definitely because of the hardware on this computer (Intel Celeron 2.4GHz 256K L2 533MHz FSB, Intel 82865G). Going forward and right (W and D) at the same time doesn't make you go diagonally forward-right, even while going forward and left (W and A) works fine, but I say it is a game problem.
