Classic client install and update, options gump, woodworking gump, house gump, all spellbook and ability gumps, containers, running around, shearing sheep, butchering corpses, fighting, and casting spells, including Gate, Recall, and Sacred Journey.
What does not
Once the game was updated, I didn't find anything that didn't work.
What was not tested
the Enhanced Client, parties, moongates, Bushido, throwing, shopping, banking, crafting (I didn't do any crafting, just happened to have a plane because that was what you USED to need to turn logs into boards; now, you just need an axe). I didn't visit Felluca, the elven lands, Malas, or the gargoyle zones.
The client you download and install does not include most of the actual game content. uo.exe launches the updater, which installs most of the game and any updates. I tried installing in Wine 1.5.22 in Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit, and that didn't work. That's when I tried doing it in Wheezy with 1.4.1. Once installed and updated, everything worked fine in Ubuntu using Wine 1.5.22.
