Beta 236E is the second GXSCC to be released in the English language. Much of the code appears to have been rewritten since the previous Beta 127 release, including some new interface buttons and improvements to the program's "hidden" mode.

What works

Pretty much everything once you learn how to load a file with it.

What does not

Opening a file conventionally.

What was not tested

This extra DLL thing that's listed on the home page, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use it.

Hardware tested

Additional Comments

Seeing as you cannot open a file by dropping a file onto it, as you would in windows, you have to do it in the terminal instead. The command, as I have it, as an example is: wine /home/username/GXSCC/GXSCC.exe "Z:\home\username\music\midi.mid" After that, it opens up just fine, buffers correctly, and plays the song.
