Seeing as you cannot open a file by dropping a file onto it, as you would in windows, you have to do it in the terminal instead. The command, as I have it, as an example is: wine /home/username/GXSCC/GXSCC.exe "Z:\home\username\music\midi.mid" After that, it opens up just fine, buffers correctly, and plays the song.
