What does not

• Help --> About claims an unhandled exception and exits. This must be caught by the application and not by Wine.
• Bundled LiveUpdate hangs. The FTP site is down so there isn't an alternative. After setting the Windows version to Vista, LiveUpdate 3.4 installed, but it just hangs and never loads.
• Virus scan complains that it cannot read the boot records. This option can be disabled.
• Trying to read the virus list reports a similar unhanded exception to above but with a “file not found” message, and exits.
• LU 3.4 claims that I do not have permission to change the config settings.
• Uninstall fails with a Vis C++ error, but not before removing the uninstall log. I gave up on it.

Workarounds

What was not tested

• LiveAdvisor - it was always useless
• Scheduled scans - I doubt they'll work
• Realtime scanner - definitely won't work

Additional Comments

There's bound to be other features I have missed but I got sick of the crashes.

Set to NT4.0 before installation but this step may not even be required.

LiveUpdate

Once installed, you will need to update LiveUpdate to version 1.8.
