Additional Comments
Performance is not perfect, but definitely acceptable. A few areas have performance issues for no apparent reason (this may be a NWN2 problem and not a Wine problem). Shadows do work, but not perfectly -- shadows tend to be "around" a model, rather than on the world, making it look like they have a semi-transparent black border. Shadows on the characters seem to work as designed as do shadows from the world (both on the world and on characters). The game cannot detect any correct resolution and instead comes up with a single bogus resolution (which changes from time to time) which (so far) is never a valid resolution -- the game will switch to a valid resolution even if an invalid one is selected. To get a valid resolution, switch to a different workspace and change the resolution with xrandr -s x (or xrandr -s ). If NWN2 is shutdown with a given resolution, it appears that it will start in the same resolution (has done so, so far for me), which means you will only have to change the resolution this way, every time you change an option. The game may crash when changing options and if it does so, it appears to do so consistently (meaning you will have to change the option back, outside of NWN2).
