What works
Installation of PhysX and game files (after Mono installed).
Launching the demo (ShippingPC-BmGame.exe).
In-game menus, video and main gameplay (*plays very slowly* - but could be my settings/hardware).
What does not
Game Setup utility.
"Detective Mode" - gameplay continues, but video does not render correctly (vertical bars across screen); returning to normal gameplay mode is successful and video functions normally until Detective Mode is next used.

Just install the demo and click through all the "fatal error" dialogs, they aren't really fatal.

Work around bug 24471 with winetricks mmdevapi=disabled
Bypass the launcher and just run ShippingPC-BmGame.exe in C:\Program Files\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum Demo\Binaries
