Give it time to install. (Takes ages, looks like it's crashed at 99% but it's still installing) In Advanced settings, config, change windows version to win95 or win2000.

1) install IE 6.0 SP1 (you can use the script and instructions retrieved from sidenet.ddo.jp/winetips/config.html)
2) install Visio 2000 SR1 with all default options.
3) after installation completed, run visio with "wine ./Visio32.exe" from ".../Program Files/Visio".
