Additional Comments
Except fo the unusual way of installing the game, it is flawless. In my opinion, the Quicktime movies in the game and the views of the Chief are even better in Wine than Windows. In order to get the game working you need to have a copy of the folder where Carmen Sandiego was installed, change the color setup from 24 to 16 bit, and edit 3 files. Also install Quicktime from the CD. CD is needed to play the game. Step 1: Copy the folder "The Learning Company" to the Program Files directory under Wine. Example: /home/minifig/.wine/drive_c/Program Files Step 2: Because Wine says my CD is Drive E, I had to edit 3 files: launch.ini, tlcrun.ini, and under prog foler: csusa.cfg You need to go into Wine configuration and check what drive letter is shown as the CD drive. If you have the color settings set to 16 you should be able to run the game now by running csusa32.exe in Wine.
