Rig: AMD x2 6000+ @3,3 ghz, 6 GB 800mhz ram, Geforce 8800GTS 320MB, kernel 2.6.31-6, video drivers 185.18.14, ext4 filesystem wolf settings:1152x864 windowed, all detail max. little workaround: have to set repeat keys off, otherwise cannot plant bombs and such actions. framerate is very playable (above 30, dunno exactly), granade explosions and big action slowers the game slightly, but nothing huge.

Changing resolution:

Use your favorite editor and edit the file:

~/.wine/drive_c/windows/profiles/username/Local\ Settings/Application\ Data/id\ Software/WolfSP/base/wolf.cfg

Find:

seta r_customHeight "512"
seta r_customWidth "640"
seta r_fullscreen "1"

and edit as you wish, if you set fullscreen to 0, and then go back to game menu, you will be able to change resolution from the menu as well. Just don't set it to fullscreen again.
