WordPerfect Office

What works

Tested WordPerfect 7.0.2.19 "for NT" from the Corel WordPerfect Office 7 suite for NT 3.51/NT 4/95.

Installs and works well with one workaround:

There is a bug under wine that prevents setup from creating directories. To work around this, run setup until it starts trying to copy files and gives you the error "Location: Not found". Then open your wine user temp folder and open the RSP file it leaves behind (for me it was "COI7.rsp"). This contains a long list of all directory locations it wants to exist. Manually ensure all of these folders exist. I copied these directory names in to a batch file to automatically MKDIR all of the folders, and ran it.
Run setup again - now it should install!

To properly run WordPerfect, wpwin7.exe must be set to run with a Windows version of NT 3.5 in the Wine config. Or the wps7_03p.exe update must be installed which lets you disable the enhanced save dialogs.

What does not

It is known that revisions prior to 7.0.2.19, which includes most retail copies of WordPerfect Office 7 sold, can not be installed under anything other than Windows 95 and can not be updated to 7.0.2.19 without obtaining a new full install CD.

What was not tested

There are many bundled applications and components included with Corel Office 7. Did not test all of them, also did not try to install the bonus applications.
